Meet the Editor

Jessica Beukes has been a resident of Quilcene for more than a decade. She belongs to a large family that resides and works in the area.

She worked at Quilcene School District for five years as a cheerleading coach, paraeducator, and in the school cafeteria. Recently, Jessica graduated from Washington State University with a B.A. in Humanities and a Professional Writing Certificate.

While residing in Quilcene, she noticed a void for a smaller publication that covers local community concerns.
